  1. I found this course to be more of an introduction rather than a ‘course’, which makes it hard to justify the price of USD $27 (AUD $40 for me). While the presentation is well done, the content barely scratches the surface. I ended up with more questions than answers, which was quite frustrating.
Plus, I’ve just tried to access the course again and got this:
    “Sorry
Because of its privacy settings, this video
    cannot be played here.”

I have no idea what that’s about… but I’ll have to wait for them to come back to me after emailing support.

    1. Hi Michael,

Thank you for posting and your kind feedback about the presentation! 🙂 Power Query Jumpstart is meant to be a jumpstart into the software. We do offer more thorough training on Power Query in Level 4 of our Elevate Excel program. We also offer comprehensive training on Power Query in The Power Query Pro Course, if you are interested.

As far as questions you may have, you are welcome to post questions on any of the lesson pages, anytime. However, if you believe there is something that the lesson should say or explain differently, use our Suggestion Box (https://learn.excelcampus.com/suggestion-box/). The Suggestion Box is a place where you can submit ideas or suggestions to help us improve the learning platform and/or our programs. We welcome all feedback via the Suggestion Box.

Lesson page comments are kept positive and instructive to promote a sense of community. Comments not aligning with that focus are deleted.

Let us know if you are still having trouble with the privacy settings for the lesson videos. Thank you again for posting, Michael. Have a great day! 🙂

  2. Hello , as per the video I’m attempting to select multiple worksheets within the same workbook. I’m using Excel MS 365 and it is not possible to do this. Reading online gives answers like this and other similar comments. “The online version of Excel has limited functionality, and currently that is one of the features that is missing in the online version, they are constantly adding new features to the online version, so that may become available in the future.” Is there a workaround? Many thanks WS

    1. Hi William,

Thank you for posting! 🙂 Agreed that the online version has limited functionality.

I attempted to try a workaround with the online version and noticed some changes even from what I used a few months ago. Are you using the free version of MS 365, or are you using MS 365 Personal/Business? To make substantial progress in Excel training, I would consider it necessary to have a full desktop version of Excel, which does come with a cost (less than the price of 2 Power Query Jumpstarts). Below is a link for pricing.

Power Query (Get & Transform) has been around since 2010. There is more Power Query functionality on Excel 2013 than there is on the online version from what I viewed today. Even an old laptop from family/friends with Excel 2013/2016 on it would be great to use … and possibly free!

I apologize that I do not have a good workaround to give you, William. If you have any additional questions, let us know. Have a great day! 🙂

    1. Hi Richard,

Great question! 🙂 One workaround is to add an index column, then sort by descending. That will bring the bottom row to the top. To do this in Power Query, choose Add Column > Index Column. Then click the dropdown on the Index column that was added (far right) and choose Sort Descending.

Let us know if you have additional questions about this, Richard – we’re glad to help! Have a great day! 🙂

    1. Hi William,

Thank you for posting and for your kind feedback! 👍 Again, we apologize for not responding sooner. We’re glad that you are enjoying Power Query Jumpstart here at Excel Campus. 🙂

Let us know if you are interested in joining the Elevate Excel program or if you have any questions.

      Have a nice weekend! 🙂

    1. Hi Ed,

Great question! 🙂 Again, we apologize for not responding sooner. Yes, the Elevate Excel program grants access to all of Excel Campus’ courses, including The VBA Pro Course which covers how to create customized UserForms.

Let us know if you have additional questions about Elevate Excel or anything else! 🙂

  3. Hi really amazing. I’m already using it and hope next month end will be a time saver. Where to next pls. Which course should I do next for the next step in learning power query? Thanks

    1. Thank you, Christene! 👍 We are glad that you learned a lot! 🙂 The virtual station concept explained in the other replies (e.g., Parallels, Boot Camp) can get you to the full function and enjoyment of Power Query in Excel on Mac.

Let us know if you have any questions or have topics on which you would like additional training. Thanks again, Christene, and keep learning! 🙂

    1. Hi Mike,

Great question! 🙂 The Jumpstart course is for beginners that want to get up and running with Power Query quickly. The Power Query Pro Course will cover everything in Jumpstart and goes into more depth on advanced functions and features of Power Query. You do not need Jumpstart if you do the Pro course.

Have a great weekend, and keep learning! 🙂
